This Pflueger Medalist 1498 is a great old school fly reel. These Pflueger's were built well and made to last. If you have an old school rod that needs a reel of you just love that old school look this is the reel for you. It will fit well on most 8wt and 9wt rods. The reel is in good shape, it has definitely been used and loved but it functions perfectly. Reel comes with spare spool and reel pouches for both the reel and spare spool.
