Some of the most well-known hatches that I've run into are blue winged olives and PMDS. Fishing either of these in their nymphal form can be extremely effective. I used a glass bead and a chubby chewy body to keep the fly buoyant, and off the bottom on a 2 to 3 fly nymph rig.
